Murmur Reading Series #3:

Holly Pester grew up in the West Midlands, has mostly lived in London and teaches Creative Writing at the University of Essex. She has created works for radio, live performance and sound installations, as well as published pamphlets and mixed media works including Go to reception and ask for Sara in red felt tip (Book Works, 2015) and Common Rest (Prototype, 2016). Her poem ‘Comic Timing’ was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem in 2019.

Karen Sandhu is a poet and artist. Her poems can be found in Writing Utopia (Hesterglock Press, 2020) and are forthcoming in Women’s Visual Poetry Anthology (Timglaset Editions, 2021). Her poetry has been previously published in Digital Poetics (87 Press, 2020), DATABLEED (2019) and Para-text (2019). She has collaborated with the Sir Denis Mahon Foundation, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Flat Time House and Camden People’s Theatre (London), Arnolfini (Bristol) and Galerie Eric Dupont (Paris).

YOKAI / Edmund Hardy is a poet and artist currently based in London. He writes about poetry regularly for Jacobin magazine, and is working on a feature length film called Negative Worlds.
